It must be time for another trip. She has found me, swept my insides and finally washed off the muck from the last trip.
Look at that pile of stuff on the floor. There is no way all that is going to fit. (You would think she might know that by now.)
Yet, she seems determined. She is going full forward! Wake up, kiddo. This won’t work.
Oh, now she is coming to her senses. Yes, take it all out and begin again. Just one of each or half of all, but don’t try stuffing it all in again.
She has paused, surely a good sign. She is making a smaller pile. Now that’s more like it.
Roll the clothes. Fill the shoes. By Jove, I think she’s got it.
I do believe she has packed in record time.
Now, where is she going?
She has taken out the scale. Sixteen pounds on departure. Just how I like it.
I’ll likely gain weight on the journey. Travel does that to me.
The things she finds to stuff in me for the return journey!
